What is a photo album and what a slideshow?

A photo album is a convenient way to present visitors a big variety of images in a clear and stylish way. This includes slideshows as well, except that these images slide in a kind of "belt" across the screen of the visitor. Based on this basic idea, there are many customization options.

How do I add the feature and how can I customize it?

In the members area under an item entitled "Fotobook" you can now step in a new album. In this overview you will also learn, how many pictures you can still upload in your photo album. The next steps are self-explanatory. If you do not want that a subpage link in the menu link for the photo album is automatically created, please tick “NO” on the line " Automatic insertion of photo album in website link menu?". You can also add a subpage link for the photo album in the link menu afterwards or make your album accessible on your website via link individually. Even the descriptions can subsequently still be changed.

Now you have created an album. Indefinitely  many albums can be created (e.g. for every summer vacation an own). By clicking on the name of the photo album you enter the album management. Via “Upload photos” you insert pictures in your photo album.

IMPORTANT: The images that you already have uploaded in your file management, have NOTHING to do with the photo album. The pictures of your photo album are as well NOT in the calculation of your file storage. The photo album is a completely separate feature!

All images you want to use for the photo album, you need to upload via the photo album. Once the images are uploaded, you can fixate the picture with the mouse and arrange it in  an order you prefer. By clicking "Add title" the picture gets a subtitle, that helps the visitors at viewing. Furthermore, you can assign tags (keywords) to the images, facilitating browsing through the photo albums later.

Depending on what your customer status is with us, you can upload the following number of images in the Photo album:

- Free membership (basic package): 6 photos
- Starter Package: 40 images
- NoWorriesPackage: 150 Pictures
- NoWorriesPackage PRO: 1000 Images

The storage utilization and size of the images are unimportant – just the number of pictures counts.

More is not to say regarding photo album!

If you call up the photo album on your homepage, you can switch between the display options "Thumbnails", "Details" and "Slideshow". "Thumbnail" means that you click on the small picture and it opens up. In slideshow mode arrows control the speed of the presentation, and by clicking on a picture it blows up. To insert an already created photo album, you select a desired subpage to edit, and then click the “Paste Extras” option button - all the settings for Insertion can be adjusted there comfortably.

Only the "slideshow" can be built directly into an existing subpage; the presentation versions "Details" and "Thumbnails" require the creation of a separate subpage for the album, or must be made available via a link:
To view the photo album not via menu link, but rather via a link on a subpage you must first create the album as described above, and note the exact address of the album. Then you should insert a link on the desired subpage in THAT way and remove the photo album link from the menu like THAT.

The font color, used for the photo album, may be changed for the respective area under point “Design” “Adjustment” in the members area (however, only for those designs that are adjustable). However, these settings are then used for the photo album, as well as guestbook, contact form, etc.
