Inuyasha is a wonderful half-demon who has many troubles through out the Inuyasha series whether it be protecting Kagome (from demons and keeping Kouga away from her) chasing after and trying to find Kikyo, going after Naraku, finding jewel shards, or fighting with his half brother. Even though he has so many troubles and problems he always pulls trough. I think his biggest trouble is trying to choose Kagome or Kikyo. Inuyasha had a hard past since niether humans nor demons excepted him and with this hard past he had a hard time excepting others into his life since he was used to being alone and fending for himself. As he gets to know Kagome he starts liking her more and more and Kagome heals the wounds of his past and he learns to trust people other than himself.

Kagome on her 15th birthday she got pulled into her familys well which sent her to the fuedal era of Japan where she met Inuyasha and eventaully freed him from the tree Kikyo sealed him to. While trying to kill a demon she sharders the Shikon Jewel which begins her adventure with Inuyasha. Kagome gets to know Inuyasha better and better and starts to realize that he is a very complex person. When she gets kidnapped by Kouga is when she really fully noticed that Inuyasha loved her. She doesnt really realize she loves him back intill later in the series but you can tell there is somthing between them which is what keeps this series interesting. When ever she sees Inuyasha with Kikyo you can tell she is jelous and heartbroken. She faces many troubles since she is one of the only people able to see the Shikon Jewel shards she has to rely on Inuyasha and the others to protect her even though she always wants to be at Inuyasha side.

Miroku is a perverted monk but the series wouldnt be the same without him. Once he spends some time with Sango he trys to settle on just her but it is SO hard for him. Miroku has many weaknesses since he has his wind tunnel. He is very usefull at times and very smart. He nows a little bit about pretty much everything. Miroku not being able to resist a pretty women gets him into a ton of trouble not only with Sango but if a villain knows this about him they set traps that get Miroku into trouble. He is trying hard to kill Naraku so that when he is older he wont get sucked into his own wind tunnel that Naraku cursed every male in his family with since his grandfather. Everytime he sees a women he asks her to bare his child which is funny seeing how each girl reacts differently to him.

Sango is very brave and caring. She has a demon cat named Kirara who when needed to transforms into a big cat with firey paws who can fly. Sango's main love is Miroku but she has a hard time admitting it. She is a demon slayer who lost all her family and friends to Naraku when he took control over Kohaku her little brother. Her mission is to kill Naraku to free Kohaku from his graps.

Shippou is a little fox demon. The thunder brothers killed his dad so he went out seeking jewel shards in order to become more powerfull and thus running into Inuyasha and Kagome. Ever since Inuyasha defeated the Thunder brothers Shippou has been going with Inuyasha and Kagome mostly because he has no other place to go. At times Shippou can be very usefull but most of the times he is just cheering the rest of the gang on.

Kikyo is a dead priestess who was the protector of the Shikon Jewel intill she fell into Naraku trap and died but before she died she sealed Inuyasha to the sacred tree or tree of ages. She wants revenge but also wants Inuyasha. She doesnt like Kagome very much because she is healing the wounds of his past and stealling him away from her. She wants Naraku to get all of the jewel shards the she wants to send him to hell. When she died she told young Kaede to burn the Scared jewel with her body and doing so created Kagome her reancarnation. She is a very sad charater not really having a place but not wanting to die.

Kouga is almost like Inuyasha adittude wise. He has a huge crush on Kagome and will have nothing stop him when he is trying to save her or keep her out of danger. He hates Inuyasha for a couple of reasons. One, because Kagome told him she likes him, two he is always telling him to keep his hands of Kagome, and three he doesnt like mutt faces. He can be very loving and caring at times and very strong and protected at others he is out to kill Naraku and Kagura for killing his allies. He also says he is going to kill Inuyasha so he can have Kagome. Kouga adds a little bit of laughs everytime he is in an episode. He is weaker than Inuyasha in power but in insults he could probably beat Inuyasha by a ticht. Ever since he met Kagome he has been changing for the better like not letting his pack eat humans.

Ayame then hates Kouga for not remembering and Kagome for stealing him away from her.

Sesshomaru is Inuyashas older half-brother. He does not seem to get along with human or really anyone for that matter. He hates Inuyasha and his father for giving the tensaiga to him and the tetsiage to Inuyasha. He says he hates mortals but why is Rin traveling with him then? He has a henchmen named Jaken who follows him and does whatever Sesshomaru tells him to do. He has a kind side its just never let out very often. His goal is to kill Naraku and Inuyasha, get the tetsiage,and become an even stronger demon than his father.

She lost both her parents and never really said much intill she met Sesshomaru. Rin helped Sesshomaru by bring a little kindness to his heart and he helped her by bringing her back to life after the wolf demon tribe killed her.
