One thing I should mention is that if your eyes,
ears, brain, and I guess, heart are closed to the truth, you will never find it!  It is said,

 “ignorance is a person

who sees this world through a straw”.

I do not wish to take sides, as I myself still am not fully sure about anything,
 although based on the documented facts I am leaning in favour of one side.
It would be easier to just believe than always need proof. 

Think for a moment, can you tell me what shape the wind is?
What does the colour blue taste like,
Where do feelings and emotions go when no longer felt?

If some Greater Being made everything and
chooses not to be detected by our scientific inquires,
would this being not have the ability to forever remain undetected,
