WE HAVE NOW PLANNED WHAT WE WILL BE DOING DURING THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS: 

 

 

IT'S THEIR HOLIDAYS SO LSACHILDMINDING WANT TO ENSURE THAT ALL OF THE CHILDREN ENJOY THEM!

 

We will be going along to the Alphabet Monday Session where we are having another very special visit from St John’s Ambulance following the success of their previous session in February Half Term.  It is something the older children in particular have since spoken about so we are sure this will be a wonderful opportunity for them to reflect on what they learnt previously and develop their knowledge in something beneficial to us all! The younger children will also join in with this session especially the bandaging and looking after their friends and how to call for an ambulance.  We are sure all of the children will again enjoy the session and learn something from it.

 

 We are going along to Dolby Forest for a Rangers Picnic and fun day of games, activities and crafts.  We will also explore the surrounding countryside and have lots of adventures.

 

We are are going along to East Hull Community Farm to see all the animals and feed some of them.  Following this we will go to the park nearby and the Hills were the children can run around and have lots of fun.  We will also enjoy a picnic lunch

 

During another Alphabet Monday’s session the  children will get to experience and play African Drums and perhaps some other interesting Instruments!  Antoine who is an experienced musician is coming along to provide this fun session and will provide a session for the older children first then incorporating lots of fun and music so all of the children can be involved and have lots of fun!

We are also going along to the Hull History Centre!  Were we are going to join in with a fun picnic and craft activities for all ages, there will also be fun live music to get us in the party mood and if the children want to we will go on a Heritage-based guided walk!

And we will also be going along to the National Play Day in Queens Gardens for a fun filled day were the children will have lots of opportunitys to participate in sports activity' and circus skills and much much more!

We are also going along to Ings Library for a Circus Day!  Were the children will be able to design and make their own Circus crafts and have lots of fun trying them out performing to their friends!

During another Alphabet Monday's session we are going along to East Park to meet all the children and their parents/carers from Alphabet Mondays!  We are then going to Participate in the Alphabet Toddle around the Animal Centre and Park to help raise sponsor funds for Alphabet Mondays to buy some new toys and resources!  Following this toddle we will then all enjoy a picnic and have lots of fun in the Water Splash Area (so spare clothes, towel and shoes needed!).

 

We are also going along to Bransholme Park and Fishing Ponds were we will have fun in the park and explore the surrounding woodland and animals and also do some pond dipping. 

Another day we are having a Pizza Party!  The children will spend the afternoon preparing their own Pizzas and puddings and drinks for their own ‘Pizza Party In The Garden’ .

During another Aplhabet Monday's session we will be having a visit from Tracy the Dental Health Educator.  Tracy is preparing lots of fun games and activities regarding learning about teeth.  Tracy will also bring along her case of fun resources and dressing up which we are sure all of the children will enjoy looking at and playing with!  The older children will also have the opportunity to disclose their teeth if they want to!

We are also going along to Humber Bridge Country Park for a fun filled day in the park.  We will be taking along our Park Box and Tent so are sure all children involved will have a great time.

 We will also enjoy a picnic there after a walk through the woodland!

We are also going to have a Paper Machie Making day, lots of paper, glue and sticky fingers creating whatever their imaginations desire and hopefully painting their achievements also!

We will also weather permitting enjoy lots of water play today and a picnic in the garden!

 

We are also going to go along to a kids club cinema deal! (To be confirmed nearer the time!)

 

 

We are also finnishing the week with another Children’s Choice day where we will be encouraging the children to share what they have learnt about ‘Families’ this week! They can do pictures, crafts and even a start a Display which they can continue as they want to over the following weeks; it’s up to them, their choice!
